I'm not really good at this but I thought I ought to try writing down what is happening in our family. We are in the thick of football season(s). Cade (8) is in an indoor arena football league, Caleb (10) is in LGF, and Colby is in the Jr. High league. Of course they all have different practices and different game schedules. So far we've been able to see each of their games-overlapping a little. Colby plays strong linebacker and he is really good. He seems to be in the thick of things--and loves it too. Caleb is playing middle linebacker and tailback. He is one of the stars of the team. It's been quite a self-esteem booster for him. Cade is playing cornerback and is so fast. He played today and had the greatest interception. When he was tackled-after a 20yd run back-he was unfortunate enough to have rolled his ankle. He rolled it pretty good. He hopes it will be better by next week.
Casey is 12 and loving Jr. High. It is so fun and scary watching her. She is doing so great in school and seems to be making a lot of new friends. I think she is even noticing boys now--even though she doesn't really talk that much about them. She is really excited for volleyball to start, but not until January. Chloe is 6 and everybody loves Chloe. She has an endless supply of playdates and friends of every age. She is the glue in our family.
I'm so blessed. Shawn is still very busy and prospering. He has 5 houses going currently. All sold. He is extremely busy but I try not to complain and count my blessings instead. Sometimes that is really hard to do when my body is screaming from all the extra work tiling and trying to not fall behind at home. Priorities! What is needed and what can wait. Well, that is a quick recap of our September. I am looking forward to October.
